With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rochelle Valene Johnson of Ames, Iowa, born in Webster City, Iowa, who passed away on February 14, 2023 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Wehrheim and Grace Wehrheim (Vulgamott); her sisters, Julie Gooch and Jackie Roe; her son-in-law Marshall Headley (Monte); and her granddaughter Angela Headley.
She is survived by: her husband Iver Johnson; her children, Susan Headley of Jewell, Debra Tjernagel of Ames, Alan Hanson (Rhonda) of Ellsworth and Michael Hanson (Deborah) of Story City, Iowa; her sister Gail Glymph (Donnie); and her stepchildren, Christian Johnson, Roberta Anderson and Brad Johnson. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be directed to the Alzheimer's Association in her name.
