He was predeceased by: his parents, Reuben L. Taylor and Mildred Dodds Taylor; his wife Rosemary; and his sister Mary. He is survived by: his sons, Jeff (Shelley) of Ames and John (Julie McGuire) of Des Moines; his grandchildren, Jason and Amy; his close friend Margaret Vance; and his nieces and nephews, Steve (Kathy), Lori, Kate and Todd Carter (Erin). He is also survived by 12 great-nephews and nieces.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Ames History Museum or Northcrest Community Foundation.
