It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Miyoko Kato Thomas (Ames, Iowa), who passed away on December 8, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her brother Akira (Kiyoko Kato). She is survived by: her husband Robert Thomas; and her siblings-in-law, Chuck, Wanda Thomas, Susan Thomas Lee, John Lee, John Thomas and Barbara Placek.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Miyoko's name may be directed to Saint Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church.
