It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Merl Core (Ames, Iowa), who passed away on December 28, 2022, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Merl Core to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Milbern R. Core and Norma Osler Core; and his son Merl Robert (Betty). He is survived by: his wife Betty Millen; his children, Ellen Franken (Alan) of Carmel, IN, William (Lynda) of Elgin, OK and John (David Houy) of Ames; and his daughter-in-law Nancy Core of Omaha, NE. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
