Lester Thompson Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 14, 2023, at the age of 91, Lester Thompson in Ames, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Thompson and Madge Thompson (Cole); his siblings, Clyde Thompson and Anna Seaman; his wife Mary Thompson; and his sons, Michael, Paul, Nelson, Doug and Annise.
He is survived by: his sisters, Margaret Nagreski (Larry) of Bloomington and Linda Turner (Bethel) of Kirksville, Missouri. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions can be made to the First Christian Church of Ames, Iowa, in Lester's name.
