She was predeceased by: her parents, Earnest Edwards and Velva Edwards (McIntosh); and her siblings, Frances Edwards Black, Ruth Edwards Loyd and Marshall Edwards.
She is survived by: her sibling Jonesborough; her children, Sharon Schmidt (Gerald) of Lakewood, CO and Donald Cook (Monica); and her brother Raymond Edwards of Winnabow, NC. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Iowa Public Radio or the Dementia Society of America.
