John L. Tait Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John L. Tait of Ames, Iowa, who passed away on July 21, 2023 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Quincy Raymond and Lydia Mildred McMillan Tait; his siblings, Raymond M. Tait and Roberta J. Reichard; his wife Margaret Anne Brown Tait; his sister-in-law Peg Tait of Mercer, PA; his daughters, Lisa Tait Longo (Andy) of Fishers, IN and Ellen Marie Tait (Igor Alarcon) of Santiago, Chile; and his grandchildren, Emma Longo, Michael Longo and Amaya Alarcon. He was also cherished by two nieces and two nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in John's name may be directed to Collegiate Presbyterian Church, the American Diabetes Association, or the Mercer County 4H in Mercer, PA.
