Donald Braymen Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donald Braymen of Ames, Iowa, born in Shenandoah, Iowa, who passed away on February 9, 2023 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bert Braymen and Helen Braymen (Winfrey); his wife Barbara Minehart; his sons, Douglas and Brian; and his siblings, Katherine Slaymaker, Paul Braymen, Mary Fitz, Grace Berry, Allan Braymen, Ruth Duke, Ralph Braymen and Patricia Borup.
He is survived by: his sons, Craig Braymen (Bonnie) of Baldwin, WI and Steven Braymen (Karen) of New Providence, IA; his daughters-in-law, Ruth Braymen of New Providence, IA and Sheila Coleman of Omaha, NE; and his sister Anna Borup (Roger) of St. James City, FL.. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Doctors without Borders, or the Israel Family Hospice House.
