He is survived by: his children, Ross Blumer of Layton, Utah and Kathryn Blumer of Johnston, Iowa; his grandchildren, Sarah Blumer and Robert Blumer; his sister-in-law Sheri Blumer; and his nieces and nephews, Amy Kapler (Dave), Alison Kaster (Leony), Heather Coyle (Jerad), Kyle Kapustynski and Trevor Kapustynski.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Memorial Lutheran Church in Nevada.
