Alice J. Sorenson Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alice J. Sorenson of Ames, Iowa, who passed away on March 9, 2023 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Gray and Gladys Gray (Clabaugh); her husband Harold Sorenson; and her siblings, Arlene Dicus, Arlyn Gray and Alan Gray.
She is survived by: her children, Richard Sorenson (Nancy) of Ankeny, Paula Elliott (Denny) of Boone and Brian Sorenson (Kathy) of Ames; her grandchildren, Krista Moorman (Josh), Jessica Morgan (Lee), Alyssa Oakley (Regan), Chris Sorenson (Shelby) and Maria Sorenson; and her great grandchildren, Sydney, Kelsea, Jacob, Bryana, Reagan and Crew. She is also survived by two great-great-grandchildren and one on the way; and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Alice's name may be directed to Bethesda Lutheran Church in Ames or the Households of Bethany in Story City.
