He is survived by: his wife Debra "Debbie" Okubo of Kohala; his children, Kelli Okubo of Waimea and Rick Okubo (Kaimi) of Waimea; and his grandchildren, Kahoku, Aulii and Pomaikai. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
