He is survived by: his parents, Russell Gary and May Bell Gary; his wife Annette Gary; his children, Silas Gary, Jr. (Jo-An) of Tarzanna, CA, Russell Gary (Janay) of Wahiawa, HI, Joseph Gary (Roxanne) of Dallas, TX, Sonya Sims (James) of Mobile, AL, Kenyatta Robinson of Mobile, AL, Monica Brady of Atlanta, GA and Anna Smith (Herbert) of Fultondale, AL; his grandchildren, Danica, Chelsea, Marissa, Rea, Van, Shayvonda, Kys, Joseph Jr. and Jhaela; and his great grandchildren, India Taylor, Isla Taylor, Isaiah Taylor and Theodore Taylor. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
