She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Selvenios Konou and Nina Matauto Konou; her siblings, Beton Mito, Hiromi Kabua, Rosalie, Aten Konou, Ronald Konou and Ronna Konou; and her children, Nina Todd Smith, Nemokam Margaret Smith and Daniel Takinal Smith.
The burial of her ashes will take place in the Mililani Cemetery at a future date when Covid-19 restrictions are no longer needed.
