With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Walter W. C. Ching in Honolulu, Hawaii, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 14, 2024 at the age of 101. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Yan Quong and Kam Tom Ching; and his grandson Dr. Taylor Choy. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Seto; his children, Jeffrey, Steven (Arlene), Kuʻulei (Bob Benton) and Lori (Chris Choy); and his siblings, Robert Ching, Gerald Ching (Gladys), Gordon Ching (Mariko), Vernon Ching (Marie), Vivian Zimmerman and Loretta Nekota. He is also survived by five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren.
