He is survived by: his parents, Thomas Soetaert and Sharon Charlton Soetaert; his sons, Ian Yohan Soetaert, Isaac Joseph Soetaert and Honolulu; and his siblings, Daniel Soetaert (Amy) of Springfield and Jan Trelc (Aaron) of Emporia. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
