She is survived by: her husband Delbert Nishimoto of Hilo; her son John Nishimoto of Hilo; and her sister Sally Kimura of Kamuela. She is also survived by one grandson; several nieces and nephews.
She was a Senior Program Volunteer for Meals On Wheels, and a member of the Kiwanis Club of East Hawai'i, East Hawai'i Hiroshima Kenjin Kai, Japanese Community Association of Hawai'I and Daniel K. Inouye Institute - Hawai'i Community Foundation.
