It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kozo Hirayama of Hilo, Hawaii, who passed away on July 26, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Hirayama of Hilo; his children, Clyde Hirayama (Audrey) of Hilo, Myra Kuboyama (Keith) of Honolulu, Clara Morita (Russell) of Hilo and Sandra Hamada (Howard) of Honolulu; his siblings, Masa Hirayama of Honolulu, Richard Hirayama of Hilo, Hisae Ibara (Richard) of Honolulu and Naomi Shiigi of Hilo; and his siblings-in-law, Cecilia Hirayama of California, Janet Oda of Honolulu and Donald Nakamoto (Shirley) of California. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
