With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Doris Mitsuyo Torigoe of Hilo, Hawaii, who passed away on October 9, 2020 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She is survived by: her children, Grant Torigoe of Honolulu, Dean Torigoe (Pamela) of Hilo and Grace Funai (Layne) of Hilo; and her siblings, James Takemura (Kay) of Honolulu and Lillian Takemura of Hilo. She is also survived by three grandchildren; numerous nephews, nieces and cousins.
