He was predeceased by: his father Everitt Cleveland Griffin; and his brother Cleve Griffin. He is survived by: his wife Penny Westbury Griffin; his son Tyler; his grandchildren, Avery Griffin and Brayden Griffin; his sons, Kip and Keaton Wise; his mother Martha Griffin; his brothers, Henry, Tam Griffin, Johnny, Kim Griffin, Wade and Ivey Griffin; and his siblings-in-law, Patti, Byron Brock, Joey and Liss Pittman. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
