He was predeceased by: his father Herwin Henry "Hank" Scheltema. He is survived by: his mother Ruth Scheltema; and his sisters, Kisti Wright, Kimberly (Allen Yoder), Linda (David Teekell), Kanda (Chuck Way) and Kay (Stephen Bonikowsky). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
