He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon Stamps and Helen B. Stamps; and his siblings, William Johnson, Belinda Johnson and Beth Johnson.
He is survived by: his children, Nicole Mims of Villa Rica, Georgia, Jeremy Stamps (Hannah) of Dallas and Joshua Stamps (Brittany) of Dallas, Georgia; and his brother Robbie Johnson of Douglasville, Georgia. He is also survived by seven grandchildren.
