He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry G. Ivey and Mary Todd Ivey; his son Todd Ivey; and his sister Betty Jo Brown. He is survived by: his wife Glenda Holland Ivey of Winston, Georgia; his daughter Becky; his son-in-law Chuck Perry of Kennesaw, Georgia; his brother Harry "Butch"; his sister-in-law Anita Ivey of Marietta, Georgia; and his grandchildren, Jonah Ivey and Bella Ivey. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that donations be made in Memory of Mr. David Ivey to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or to First Baptist Church Douglasville.
