He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin E. Nichols and Margaret Nichols; and his brother E. "Spike" Nichols. He is survived by: his daughter Mary Ann Parker; his grandson Weston Parker of Conyers, GA; and his sister Sally Nichols Shuford. He is also survived by several nephews and nieces and great nephews and great nieces.
