She was predeceased by: her parents, Lossie Allen Kent and Pauline Sirmons Kent; her husband James Thomas "Tom" Shaw; and her siblings, Gail Folsom, Jackie Futch, Wendell Kent and Gene Kent.
She is survived by: her daughters, Babs Thomas (Joe) of Sylvester, Nancy Anthony (Randy) of Fitzgerald, Stephanie McMillan (Michael) of Forsyth and Rea Sims (Jim) of Williamson; and her sister Shirley McCoy of Rincon. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren.
