With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kenneth L. Hunkapiller of Willacoochee, Georgia, who passed away on June 30, 2022 at the age of 79. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Hunkapiller of Willacoochee; his children, Jason Hunkapiller (Amy) of Willacoochee and Vickey Kirkland (Richard) of Willacoochee; and his siblings, Daniel Hunkapiller (Margie) of Willacoochee and Betty Ann Walker of Willacoochee. He is also survived by 7 Grandchildren, 4 Step-Grandchildren, 6 Great-Grandchildren, 3 Step Great-Grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Visitation for Mr. Hunkapiller will be held on Monday, July 04, 2022 at Relihan Funeral Home from 6:00 – 8:00 P. M. Mr. Hunkapiller will lie in state at Willacoochee First Baptist Church on Tuesday, July 05, 2022 from 10:00 – 11:00 A. M. Attendees are asked to comply with the current guidelines and standards regarding containment of the Coronavirus including masks and social.
