He was predeceased by: his parents, Sara Ruth and Madison Gilbert Caldwell, Sr.; and his siblings, Gee Caldwell, Robert Caldwell, Dina Caldwell and Sarah Cuff Caldwell.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Caldwell; his children, Casey Caldwell of Edgefield, SC, Courtney Caldwell of North Augusta, SC, Drew Davidson (Brittany) of Augusta and Brad Davidson of Augusta; his grandsons, Tommy Rinker, Cameron Spinks, Mason Davidson, Archer Caldwell and Charlie Caldwell; his brother Joey Caldwell of Brooklet; his nephew Mike Caldwell (Tina) of Guyton; and his niece Mary Beth Kronenberger (Timmy) of Guyton.
Remembrances may be made to the Shepherd Spinal Center in Atlanta.
