It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Barkley Montgomery III of Waynesboro, Georgia, born in Sheffield, Alabama, who passed away on December 9, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Alice Allen Montgomery; his parents, Joseph Barkley Montgomery, Jr. and Susanna Morris Stanton Montgomery; his children, Jay Montgomery (Kara) of Columbia and Cynthia Georghiou-Goodale (Aaron) of Westlake Village, California.; and his grandchildren, Ally Montgomery, Stavros Georghiou and Hannah Montgomery.
