He was predeceased by: his parents, James Dana Allen and Mildred Murray Allen; his brother Tommy J. Allen Sr.; his wife Peggy Allen; his brother Terry D. Allen (Dayle); his sons, James Lloyd Allen Jr. (Debbie) and Troy Allen (Cathy); his stepchildren, Melissa Parrish and Stacy Griner; and his grandchildren, Cristian Allen, Alexander Allen, Kristie Allen, Lance Allen, Dean Parrish, Haley Coleman (Tyler), Maddie Flowers (Tory), Hannah Weaver (Michael), Gracie Jarvis Jacob Griner (Zach) and Trenton Griner. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews along with many cousins and close friends.
