He was predeceased by: his parents, Wesley Saxon and Mae Saxon; his siblings, Elaine Carter and Martin Saxon; and his grandson Brad Nelson.
He is survived by: his wife Sara McClain Saxon; his daughters, Carlene Nelson (Al), Sonya Lewis (Clifford) and Paige Braithwaite (Bob); his grandchildren, Chris Nelson (Jessica), Laney Davis (Hunter), Gray Hardy (Mark), Chase Braithwaite, Ali Braithwaite and Cole Lewis; and his great grandchild Colson Hardy.
