He is survived by: his wife Mazie Bearden Shepherd of Villa Rica; his sons, Gary (Connie Shepherd) and Wade (Mary Shepherd); his sisters, Betty Ruth (Jim Lumpkin) and Rita (Randy Smith); his grandchildren, Greg, Ashley Shepherd of Temple, Nicholas Shepherd of Villa Rica, Kristi Shepherd Rigdon, Blake Rigdon of Villa Rica and Conner Shepherd of Indiana; his great grandchildren, Mason Shepherd of Temple, Aubree Rigdon of Temple, Riley Rigdon, Blakelee Rigdon and Kristina Rigdon of Villa Rica; and his siblings-in-law, Joan Shepherd, Martha Shepherd, Thomas Keith and Loomis Emory. He is also survived by Several nieces, nephews and extended family.
