He was predeceased by: his parents, Carlos Eugene Chastain and Aledia Ward Chastain. He is survived by: his wife Connie Galloway Chastain; his children, Samantha Dawn Phillips of Villa Rica, Tishula Kilgore (David) of Alabama, Shannon Niles Phillips of Villa Rica and Darrell Blake (Amanda) of Temple; and his brother Lonnie Chastain (Merinda) of Summerville. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; six great grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.
