She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Downey Pate and Georgia Azalee Batten Pate; and her husband Billy Delane Lightsey. She is survived by: her children, Marcia (Donald Vaughn), Lori (Robert Henry), Billy (Lydia Lightsey Jr.), Robert (Karen Lightsey) and Richard (Hettie Lightsey); and her sister Azalee Thomas of Waycross, Georgia. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, nine great grandchildren; one niece and one nephew.
