He is survived by: his wife Peggy Fernander; his daughter Shree; his son-in-law Johnny Strickland of Bowdon; his sons, Mel (Terri Fenanander, Jr.), Joey (Linda Fernander) and Brantley; his grandchild Carrollton; and his siblings, Joyce Ann (Herb Franklin), Penny and Johnny Fernander of Villa Rica. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; twenty six great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
