He is survived by: his sons, Dan (Haley James) and Matt (Natalie James); his wife Patricia "Patsy" James; his grandchildren, Daniel James, Laura Ann James, Caroline James and Sarah James; his mother-in-law June Meeks; his brother Mac; and his sister-in-law JoAnne James.
