He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Benefield Williams; his son-in-law Shannon; his stepgrandchildren, Dylan, Miranda Shadix, John Tyler, Hannah Shadix, Caitlin Shadix and Emma Shadix; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Oaklee Shadix, Emery Shadix and Nash Shadix; and his brothers, Pete (Diane Williams) and Carl (Dale Williams).
