She is survived by: her husband Wendell G. Thornton of Villa Rica; her daughter Marie; her son-in-law Thomas George of Carrollton; her son Danny (Michelle Thornton); and her sister Emma Smith of Dallas. She is also survived by great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
