We are sad to announce that on May 2, 2020, at the age of 83, Ernest Davenport (Union Point, Georgia), born in Blue Ridge, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Tate Davenport and Essie Tipton Davenport; his wife Marjorie Odell Chastain; and his brothers, Lehman, Lewis and Herbert Davenport.
He is survived by: his sons, Kenneth Davenport (Miriam) of White Plains, GA, Gary Davenport (Penny) of Union Point, GA and Darren Davenport (Julie) of Greensboro, GA; his sisters, Evelyn Foster and Darlene Jones; and his grandchildren, Kenny Davenport (Renee), Joanie Patrick (Cody), Jennifer Hubbard (Scott), April Rhoades, Lindsey Stone Natalie Chastain (Keith) and Victoria Davenport. He is also survived by eleven great grandchildren; many friends and other relatives.
