He was predeceased by: his father Willie Emmitt Alford; and his siblings, Ronald C. Alford and Wanda Lanette Bragg. He is survived by: his wife Deborah G. Alford of Twin City; his children, Joshua Alford (Amanda) of Soperton, Raymond Alford of Twin City, Wallace J. Williams (Amy) of Pooler and Whitney Holden (Andy) of Canoochee; and his sister Pamela Alford Lane of Millen. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and friends.
