With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Vela Mae Cumbee (Twin City, Georgia), born in Garfield, Georgia, who passed away on December 12, 2019 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Johnson and Janie Johnson; her husband Ernest Odell Cumbee; her sons, Jimmy Dean Cumbee and Jeffrey Keith Cumbee; and her siblings, Doc Johnson, Daniel Johnson, Loye Johnson, Sr. and Cleo Walls.
She is survived by: her children, Lisa Hadden (Travis) and Tommy Cumbee (Cathy); and her grandchild Twenty. She is also survived by Twenty-Two Great – Grandchildren, Nieces, Nephews, and Extended Family.
