He was predeceased by: his parents, Butler B. Watson and Daisy Johnson Watson; his son Dan B. Watson; his sister Lillian Watson Schwalls; his daughter-in-law Teresa McMurry Watson; and his siblings-in-law, Bobby Ray Collins and Joan Leggett.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Collins Watson; his son Bob Watson; his brother Don Watson (Nancy) of Statesboro, GA; his grandchildren, Christy Neesmith of Hazelhurst, GA, Collin Watson of Metter, GA and Kirby Watson of Swainsboro, GA.; his great grandchildren, Harley Neesmith of Hazelhurst, GA and Ivy Laine Pritchard; and his sisters, Jan (Gary Bowers) and Jackie Collins.
