He was predeceased by: his father Luther Green; his wife Sara Lou Kirkland Scott; and his siblings, Ruby Clifton, James Scott, Nealy Kirkland, Nellie Boatright and Shirley Scarboro.
He is survived by: his daughter Sara Ellen White; his sister April Scott Hadden (Jimmy) of Lexsy; his granddaughters, Sara Amanda Dennis and Mackayla Autumn Oglesby; his brother George R. Scott (Carole) of Metter; his sister-in-law Virginia Kirkland Herndon (Richard); and his sister Dollie Kirkland of Swainsboro. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many precious friends.
