She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Gray Gordy and Vera Gladys Lawson Gordy; her husband Don Wilkerson; her daughter Tracy Lynn Bird; and her siblings, Gloria Ann Davis, Geraldine Rich, Terrie Averett and Charles Gordy.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Samantha Autumn Bird of Swainsboro, Christopher Bird, Jr. of Augusta and Roy Brandon Bird; and her son-in-law Chris Bird of Swainsboro. She is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and many friends.
