With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Berian Gwinnette Durden Sr. of Twin City, Georgia, who passed away on July 24, 2023 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elton Durden and Kittie W. Durden; his son Berian Durden, Jr.; his grandson Alex Apps; his siblings, Mary Phillips and L. E. Durden; and his grandmother McMillan (Nell Durden).
He is survived by: his wife Georgia Martha Morris of Emanuel County; his children, Lavonia Bishop (Steve) of Savannah, GA, Agatha Apps (Buzzy) of Saint Helena Island, SC, Nannell Pierce of Kenfield, GA, Dawn Roberson (Frank) of Waycross, GA and Dee Durden (Teresa) of Richmond Hill, GA.; and his grandchildren, Baron Durden, Nathan Roberson, Allan Hooks, Brandi Durden, Chad Pierce and Devin Pierce. He is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
