He was predeceased by: his parents, Hershel Pennington and Evelyn Pennington (Judy Pennington); and his son Jeremy Pennington. He is survived by: his daughters, Barbara Blevins (Danny) and Cristy Cox (Brian Sherman); his siblings, Ginger Scruggs (Larry), Karen McBryar (Eddie) and Kenneth Pennington (Becky); his grandchildren, Brandon Barton (Alex), Corey Barton (Kristen), Macy Cox, Gabrielle Cox and Ambry Cox; and his great grandchildren, Eli Barton and Kason Barton.
