He was predeceased by: his parents, Rinzy Hartline and Azalee Hartline; and his siblings, Jerry, Junie, Dale, Lamar, Kenneth, Eddie, Nolan and Lisa.

He is survived by: his wife Shirley Hartline; his daughter Martina Shrum (Mike); his granddaughters, Kelsey and Carissa Shrum; and his siblings, Wilma Massengale, Bertha McBryar, Demple Williams, LaMerle Howard, Jimmy Hartline and Clayton Hartline. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and a host of friends.
