She was predeceased by: her husband R. C. Downer; her brothers, Steve and David Garner; and her great grandchild Jasmine Jones. She is survived by: her daughter Carla Avans of Trenton; her grandchildren, Ciara Carlton, Seth Jones, Bronson Jones (Kaitlyn), Brooklyn Jones, Bo Smith and Si Smith; her great grandchildren, Xzavier, Xander Carlton and Charleigh McDaniel; and her brother Greg Garner (Vickie). She is also survived by several nieces & nephews.
