He was predeceased by: his parents, John Lyde and Lillie Forester; his wife Vonnie; and his brothers, Jack Forester and Freeman Forester.
He is survived by: his daughters, Kathy Adkins (Terry), June McCormick (Joel), Kim and Christy Forester; his grandchildren, Amonie Shavers (Neal), Kerry Starling (DJ), Cole Adkins (Samantha), Carter McCormick (Paula), Canaan McCormick, Maddie Hughes (Tyler) and Christian Smith; his great grandchildren, Jett, Riley and Everly Shavers; and his grandchildren, Henry, Hollis, Haisley Starling, Calla Adkins and Anika McCormick. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and many, many loving friends.
