He was predeceased by: his parents, Lonnie Quarles and Frances Quarles; his siblings, Gearl, Garlon, Orbie Lee Quarles and Ellon Quarles; and his son-in-law Ed Krantz.
He is survived by: his wife Rachel Louise Quarles; his children, Melinda Krantz of Wray, CO and Greg Quarles (Cindy) of Georgetown, TN; his grandchildren, Kara Barnett (Thomas), Cecilia Jones, Taylor Krantz, Amber Worley (Travis), Lucretia Breedlove and Waylon Breedlove; and his great grandchildren, Kaedyn Worley, Levi Worley and Maren Barnett.
