He was predeceased by: his parents, James Douglas Stinson and Bessie Arliss Smith Stinson; and his siblings, James Stinson Jr., Freddie Stinson, Marshall Stinson, Paul Stinson, Peggy Stinson Bennett and Bunny Stinson Snipes.
He is survived by: his daughter Jessica Stinson Poole (Chad Poole) of Enigma; his grandchildren, Owen Payne, Avery Poole and Celie Jane Poole; and his siblings, Myra Stinson of Chula and David Stinson of Wedowee.
