He is survived by: his significant other Linda Cantlebary; his children, Whit Massey (Heather) of Tifton and Bryan Cavenaugh (Michele) of Tifton; his grandchildren, Miki Mole (Jeff) of Valdosta, Justin Byers, Will Byers (Sheridan), Cole Byers, Charlie Cavenaugh, Ben Cavenaugh, Beth Cavenaugh, John Michael Cavenaugh, Parker Massey, McKinley Massey and Whitley Massey; his great grandchildren, Daxton Byers and Benjamin Byers; his siblings, Pete Massey (Faye), Becky "Honey" Lee (Pat Tillman) of Thomasville and Marydale Massey of TyTy; and his brother-in-law John Lewis (Yvonne Wheeler) of Richmond, IL..
